Sloan won't use ZaltrapcoloCan said:and from NYTimes:why MSK won't use Zaltrap

I'm treated at MSK, so this is very discouraging, however, if they think it doesn't offer anything more than Avastin, at least a lot more money isn't being spent.
HMMMMM........however.....Genentech makes Avastin.......and I am wondering if MSK and Genentech have an "alliance", meaning they (MSK) will only use Avastin..........something to think about.
Was hoping Zaltrap would work better than Avastin. Zaltrap targets tumors 3 ways.....Avastin only 1.
I don't know, something doesn't seem right.0 -
Apparently this move by MSK had a positive result:janie1 said:Sloan won't use Zaltrap

i think the sugar debate has been won at last, but i could be wrong. would not be the first time.
and the key point now becomes . how onc start pushing lifestyle as more important to survival than drugs.
