OOOO RAHHHHHHH!
My ENT declared me NED! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll have revisits with him, with my oncologists, but only for check ups!
The future is bright!
Thank you to all the people on this site who, even though I may not have responded to their posts, helped me understand what the treatment processes entailed, what I could expect from side effects, tips on care and support for my spouse, the wonderful woman who put up with a cranky husband.
We are amazing people, we start out as scared strangers and become friends dealing with a common enemy, reaching across towns, cities, states and countries to help one another. Whether patient or care giver, we all help each other weather the storm together.
Thank you
What's next for me? I'M GOIN' TO DISNEY WORLD!
Seriously, our flight leaves this afternoon!

Hi yensid683,
So nice to hear NED and that NED’s going to Disney World makes it even nicer.
Hey, you say were friends…do you want some additional company at Disney World (just kidding, I wouldn’t want to leave this cold wet Oregon Weather).
Happy Halloween,

Disney World...
You should have a great time....weather is nice and sunny...a little cool for us, but no rain scheduled for a few days.
Shelley and I just got back home from the beach... It was actually pretty windy and cold, but still a nice get away.
BTW, home for us is about 40 mles from Disney, LOL...
One of our favorite places to go visit sometimes Saturday afternoon is the RainForest Cafe' at DownTown Disney;
DownTown Disney
Then we usually split an Old Fashioned Hot Fudge Sunday at Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop, and sit outside over looking the lake and boats watching the kids and people...

We're all great people!
WDW is an outstanding experience. The weather is perfect, highs in the 70's and 80's, no humidity and bright sunshine (I look a little funny with the extra wrap around my neck) but I'm having a great time.
When we checked in the desk clerk asked if we were celebrating anything. I said yes, and my wife said, "the end of cancer treatments". The clerk was a bit surprised to hear that one, but she simply wrote "life" on my 'I'm Celebrating" button!
Thanks for all the good wishes!

Hope you have a great time... If you find yourself heading to toward Tampa let me know, we'll have a coffee or lunch if you have time.
Also, a cruise down International Drive can be fun...plus you can visit Bass Pro Shop and Ron Jon's.
Check out the links I sent above...
Weather should hold out for you, a little possible rain come Tuesday, but should only be spotty and not last.
Oh, and if you were in the USMC, Semper Fi brother....
Best,
John

but the standard 'yay' phrases just did not seem adequate, and then I remembered what a friend of mine used to say and borrowed his phrase0 -

today at 8 pm, so no, I won't be making my way to the sunshine coast, rather I'll be spending 3 hours in a pressurized metal tube rocketing through the skies to the cold northeast. From what I see on TWC, tonight's low will be in the upper 20's. Not quite the great weather I've experienced this past week, but I've found that you cannot ski on rocks, and I've considered water skiing, but finding a lake with a slope is a real challenge......0
