OH MY GOSH!! Where do I start?

I'm in shock at the overwhelming replies full of love, support, encouragement, and so much more. My dear brothers and sisters in pink you have once again given more than you will ever know. I'm doing ok today, yesterday was hard, but today is a new day:) My daughter is coming out at noon and my social worker, and hospice nurse will be here at 1 to introduce themselves and get me started. I'm sure I've made the right decision for me, but I'm still a little scared. I will keep you all updated as I learn new things. I'm going after a keyboard for this iPad so it's easier to type (thank you for that advice). All my love to all of you, I wish I could have met some of you but I live in the Midwest, nobody near me :(. Maybe I can take a road trip :). Thank you, thank you, thank you again for keeping me in your thoughts, prayers, and supporting me. You are my other family and I love you all dearly!!

PS I'll be posting and trying to support others a lot more once I get that keyboard (or stylus, not sure what its called, but I'm getting it) :-)

    A very dear friend of mine sent me this in text and said she set it as my id when I call her. It seemed like a great one to use and share with my pink warriors. No matter how low I go, at one point I gave it my all :-} I have to keep reminding myself of that!

    I read your other thread late last night... Simply couldn't find the words. Flooded by detailed memories of your journey, all that you've shared with us - many awful, others full of joy and happiness. You became a member here just a few months after I joined. So, I've been with you throughout.

    Although am utterly heartbroken by the horrendous decision you've been forced to make - my admiration for your strength and spirit has soared beyond where it already was. Yes, dear Kari, you gave it your all - and much more than others would have, could have. Actually, you still are. Remind yourself whenever you may need to... And, if you post here of any doubt - we'll remind you, too.

    We will all be here for you, with you, alongside every step of the way. As we have been during the past several years. Giving hugs for support and encouragement, holding your hand for comfort, via cyberspace, with love. There's nothing to hold back, please don't hesitate, ever. Most of us - if not all - completely and truly understand 'where' you are right now in a way that those outside of the actual experience can.

    The fact you are even thinking of others speaks volumes about the type of person you are. To share your journey good or bad is heartfelt and brave. I love your Avatar as well. I think it suits you. I'm glad you are having a good day today and hope you have many more. Thinking and praying for you always.

    It's so good to see this new post and to read what a great day you were going to have. How are your children doing Kari? Do they live close to you? They have to be so proud of you, as I know we all are.
