5 year past!

It is a good morning. 5 years has now passed since my last chemo treatment and I am here to tell you all that I'm still dancing with NED (no evidence of disease)!
I used to come here a lot 5-6 years ago and get help and support and everyone was such a big help. I also like to think I offered help and support for my sisters and brothers.
Actually, I'm a "lurker" (on occasion, now) but felt like I needed to come back and tell you....it is possible to get on with your life. My goodness, I have done things I never dreamed I'd do (since cancer), make cement creations from leaves, photography, make jewelry.....and more. Just felt like there is a lot of things we can do and learn and must do that with our time!
My thoughts go out to all of you. Keep your mind open and just know...anything is possible.
The words that helped me the most are:
"Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's trouble, it empties today of it's strength."
Keep moving forward and don't look back.

So nice to hear 5 years NED. I hope to get there. Diagnosed 4/11/2012 stage 4 colorectal cancer with 1 met to the liver. Had 5 weeks chemoradiation, 4 weeks off surgery July 17, 6 hour surgery, removed rectal tumor and liver met and gallbladder. I. Have done 8/12 Folfox treatments and haven't missed 1 yet due to blood work. Only 4 more to go, should be done before Christmas. Good luck to you and hope you always remain cancer free.

Go girl and Thanks, that is all I need to hear, I am also stage III and still NED. Thinking positive and taking it one day at a time. Worry often, but that is my nature I have to learn to overcome. "IT" is always in the back of my mind.
But al things are possible.
