We have many, many trick or treaters out here. Hayrides drop off 20-40 at a time. For once, I am not working and Danny is sooo happy not to have to hand out candy alone as it can s!get tricky. I love the cute kids in their costume0 -
When I was between
When I was between marriages, I went to an adult Halloween party thrown by a co-worker. This guy came in dressed in a full body leotard with a pie pan hanging from his waist. Dummy me went up to him and asked "Who are you supposed to be?" His reply "Peter Pan". I just said "Ohhhhh" and walked away.

My 11 yr son has dressed in the same costume for past 4 yrs..He's a BMX racer and just wears his gear! Yet I still buy costumes for my older two...my 15yr old is a Banana this year and her best friend a Gorilla..they walked around the neighborhood last week, it was a hoot.0 -

LOL at Honeybooboo and her Mama. Is that true? You'd have to have, what is it, her go go juice to go with the outfits! LOL0 -
No trick or treaters
We don't get any where we live. We're going to a party and my husband is going to wear a Royal's baseball hat and put a big bandage on his behind and go as a royal pain in the butt. I was going to go as a flapper girl, but my husband wants me to go as his angel. AWWWWW.....
So now I have 2 costumes. Maybe I'll wear the flapper costume to work.

No Halloween party this year for us. Our neighbor who usually hosts, decided not to do it this year.
Trick or Treaters aren't as many as there used to be.
We don't get a lot of trick or treaters anymore either. Ofcourse that is good in a way, as now that means more candy left over for me! lol
I remember when I was a kid and I used to love to go to one of my friend's grandmother's house on Halloween. She made popcorn balls and homemade caramels and they were so good. Now that was the good old days. lol

We used to dress up and go to parties at Halloween, but, I think we're just staying home this year and handing out candy to the little ones. I haven't got the house all decorated yet, but, I am close. My husband has got the outside almost done too.
Did anyone ever teepee someone's house at Halloween? Not that I ever did, just wondered.0 -

We've been invited to a couple of parties, but, we are still undecided. I've toyed with the idea of going as Sonny and Cher. We've dressed up like them at previous parties and might do it again. Everyone loved our outfits and it was fun getting ready.
I always remember my parents walking us to homes to get our treats and coming home while they dealt out how much candy we could eat. Smart parents!
What are you going to do Susie?

I love to hand out treats at halloween, and we get plenty ringing the doorbell in our little community! I wear tattoo sleeves so when i answer the door it looks like my arms are all tattoo'd. It gets many "oh my's". My kids (who are all adults and have tattoo's) think its fun and pretty real looking~
In 2008 I had my latissimus flap surgery the 23rd and had such a hard time staying "down" and not getting up to go see the kids at the door~
Happy Halloween~

Now you know I cannot tell what we're going as because what if some of you go to the same party. You would shout out Ritzyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol And, the jig would be up. So, our costumes will remain a secret.
I hate to admit this and I am sorry that we did it, but, a longgggggggg time ago, one of my girlfriends and I stole pumpkins. Yes, I know, it was wrong, but, we had a little something to drink, so, we weren't ummmmmm sober? lol I was in the car at one house, waiting for my girlfriend to go up to the house and steal the pumpkin, and, all I saw was her running and then bouncing back like a boomerang. You see, it was an electric pumpkin and the cord was fighting my girlfriend for the pumpkin. lol I never laughed so hard in my life! Did we get it? NO! She just dropped it and ran as fast as she could to the car for safety. That was the first and last time we ever did that and I have asked for forgiveness.

We are hosting an adult
We are hosting an adult Halloween Costume Party on Saturday.. We decorate our basement, rent cocktail tables and hired a dj to play music...will offer pizza and cocktails but asked those attending to bring a dish to pass... This is the 3rd time we have done this and it will most likely be our last...
Should be a great time though!

I love Halloween
I am a preschool director, so I get to dress up for school every year - I love it! Last year, I made Crayola crayon costumes for the entire staff (16 people) - we were all different colored crayons from the box. This year I'm recycling my princess dress (an old formal gown) with lacy cape, pointy hat, and wand. I get to dress as a Pilgrim for Thanksgiving, and wear my p.j's to school for Pajama Day. It is so much fun.0 -

My hubby and I will be fighting for who gets to the door first when the doorbell rings. I love seeing the little ones and their cute costumes. I hope that we have nice weather and lots of trick and treaters.

We had so much fun! Hubby and I did dress up and go to a Halloween party. It actually was a dinner and the food was very scary looking! lol Some of the ideas she made were so funny. Hoping everyone had a fun and safe Halloween!
Now we just have to get ready for the time change this weekend. UGH0
