Iscador
I know a number of women whose number was climbing or whose number had not come down during treatment and they had great results with Iscador. Some of them have avoided certain recurrance. Iscador is only available through naturopaths and integrative practioners. I consists of self-administered injections.

Thanks for the info Tethys. I've heard a little about this...it's derived from mistletoe, right? Planning to check out the integrative medicine center at the hospital where I'm treated, and perhaps try acupuncture too.
Have you done complimentary medicine for your cancer?0 -
Hi there. Just wanted to
Hi there. Just wanted to share my iscador experience with you. My ca 125 was 31 after finishing chemo. I began taking the shots soon after finishing chemo. After 1 month of shots, number fell to 20. I will have next blood work drawn in December. Hoping the number goes down even more. I have no side effects from it other than red spot at injection site. It is worth giving a try. Good luck!0 -

Yes, I started integrative treatment after my second chemo. Despite my poor prognosis and suboptimal debulking, I acheived remission (NED) after 8 rounds of carbo/taxol/avastin. I continue to work with my naturopath and am still in remission over 2 1/2 years after finishing treatment.0
