Lupron may not be working, cough & sore throat something to be aware
Six weeks ago, thought he had the flu, cough, sore throat and occasional shortness of breath.
GP said it was a cold, 2 weeks later, said it was the flu.
2 weeks after that endoscopy...diagnosed with mild acid reflux, chest x-ray ordered, 2 questionable spots on lungs.
CT ordered, multiple abnormal spots on both lungs and 2 enlarged lymph nodes.
Pet scan was done yesterday
Fu appointment on Tuesday for results.
Doctor mentioned it could mean the lupron is not working and cancer has metastasized, but not sure, possibly old scars from smoking
Obviously we are praying for the latter.
Hopeful

The doctor's at MDACC said that after two and a Half years of Lupron that I was taking continue's to work and If I quit it, the Cancer would have more food to eat. Any HT will help, if it keep the Testosterone low. If not, it's getting it from a second source--- the kidney's.
Sleep is over rated, get up and read a bad romantic book--- you will fall back sleep! Don't drink wine, I have been there and done it!!0 -
