in Breast Cancer #1
I go for mammo (not sure if both side or THE ONE side), ultra sound (never had on breast) and bone density!

Anyone want to ride along? I have never had bus full to go...not thought to ask..hehe..

    Ok Denise...you know the drill...
    duck as the food is being tossed to each other...and don't be ashamed of our raucous behavior as we travel with you! But a more devoted group you won't find. That is really early- good! the rest of the day you can relax. I am hoping for good results for you. Sending a prayer up right now.

    in NYS we get 4 hrs off for
    in NYS we get 4 hrs off for annual mammo / health screening. My daughter works at the imagining center she made the apps so I could do all 3 in at one day so not to need to take more days off...so mammo, then ultra sound followed by bone density...then to work by 12:30

    Any houses next to you? I think I live in the wrong city! Hooray for you. Maybe going back to work will be good for you so that you don't dwell on things. This is going to be a fun bus ride! We are all pulling for you!

    Denise, you can count me in for a "Pink Bus" ride. I have been on several bus rides & had several Pink Busses show up for my test and/or surgeries. These ladies are the most roudiest & loyal group you could have by your side for anything the doctors could do to you, as long as you feed them! HAHAHAHA!!!

    The first time asking for "the bus" is the hardest, it gets easier after that. Sometimes you don't even HAVE to ask,they just know,and when you turn around; there they are! Cheering you on and partying loudly in support.

    Hoping all your test come out A-O.K.

    oddly I don't even think of results until I get call...I am very odd I know...even when I was diagnosed they called me back next day. My thought was no biggie all good..Told them that and they said NO...you must see surgeon..

    I like riding the bus
    It's always fun to be there for one of our own. Should we wear costumes for halloween? And since it IS October, we could all wear pink costumes. How about Tutus in honor of Nancy?

    I will come along and will be glad that I'm not the one being tested. I will bring some apple cider for you will be thirsty after all those test.

    Hoping that all will go well, you will have a great mammo and ultra sound that will find everything normal.
    Your bone density will be just where it should be for your age - good.
