I can't stop crying
This beautiful woman .... whom I've known for a short time ... MAJW ... Nancy ... Warrior .... sister ... FRIEND.
Meant the world to me. She was always around to give her heartfelt words of encouragement when I needed them. OMG ... this can't be true.
Nancy. wherever you are, I love you. God has yet taken another angel to watch over us all.
Rest dear sister ... rest.
My heart is heavy with sadness. Bert ... I can't imagine what you are feeling right now. But please know, my sister was a kind person ... a giving woman ... a pink warrior who was adored by all. Hugs and prayers for you and yours. God Bless

I am as unnerved and shocked as everyone else has expressed here. I am also terribly sorry to hear this. She was a gentle soul and always had a positive spin on things.
I wish peace for Nancy and her loving family in this time of hardship.

I had to reread this several
I had to reread this several times to understand it in my brain. Then my jaw literally dropped wide as I realized that she died.
She is one of the rocks on these boards. I will surely miss her. I am so saddened for her family and friends. What a horrible loss of a wonderful person.0 -

When I became a member of the miserable Stage 4 club in January, Nancy was among those who gave me such encouragement and strength to move forward. I loved her.
She sent me a card on which she hand painted a beautiful watercolor of a bouquet of flowers on the front. I have it in front of me and I intend to frame it. It is beautiful--she was a wonderful artist.
Prayers to your husband and family, Nancy. May you be enveloped in the arms of the Lord and at peace.

Nancy, we will forever miss you. May your family find comfort in their wonderful memories of you. You have earned your angel wings and I know you are smiling down on us from above. You have always been such a comfort and inspiration to me. Rest in peace dear sister.

who wore the pink tutu on the pink bus... very positive and had a funny sense of humor, signed off with we care to all the new people on the board. She was still posting around the 10th or so.
Nancy passing is a surprise as even though she too was stage iv, she was in remission. My heart goes out to her husband, children and grands. I will miss Nancy, especially her positive outlook in spite of this shi**y disease.....

I am so saddened to hear this news. My prayers and kindest thoughts are with her family and friends.
I read this earlier this morning but it hurt so bad I couldn't type.I cried.I always checked to see when she posted.I know she was on a couple weeks ago.I was happy to see her posting. She was in remisson like someone said and then this pneumonia. That's why it's such a shock. She was beating cancer but something else took her. That is the hard part of it all.Not fair!!!!
Nancy was so sweet. I knew her by all her posts but last year (holidays) I decided to have Christmas alone with my husband. One grandchild was upset with me for not giving gifts when they turn 18 for Christmas and Birthdays.I remember saying for the holiday my husband and I are having dinner alone.Just a quiet dinner.Nancy emailed back and said if you were closer you could come join us for the holidays. That was so sweet.I was hoping someday we would meet.
This also really hit me because for the last 6 weeks I've been fighting bronchitis.Doctor appt and still just a little mucous I can't shake.Xrays are fine.Blood work is fine but the doctor said expect this to last 5 weeks. It has. Then thinking of Nancy and the pneumonia just breaks my heart.Nancy was also dx with BC about the same tme as I was.Just a few weeks if I remember.
My heart goes out to her family friends and all of us who loved her on this Board. She'll be deeply missed by the lives she touched. This sudden death has been a shock. Makes it Harder to cope.
NANCY you will be deeply missed by everyone who knew you.

Nancy has her own voice, very optimistic outlook and had encouraged everyone to fight. Being TNBC herself she provided support and comfort to new and old members of this board for both treatment and life and family situations

I read Nancy's obit in another post and was so saddened and shocked. She always had an encouraging word to everyone and I looked forward to her posts. I blame cancer for taking her life even tho she died from pneumonia. Cancer and all that goes with it takes so much from us we don't have a whole lot to fight with when we get some other illness. Nancy was a beautiful sweet woman and so inspiring. May her husband and family be comforted during this sad time. We will miss her.0
