    Hi phrannie
Go for it, I found that working again is what keeps me going even with all the problems I still have. It is a way I can take my mind off of me and put it somewhere else, gets hard some days, but when it does my Boss just lets me go home anytime I want.

    Good luck

    Well.....it's 5:30 am, and I'm still awake....
my eyes are taking a beating tho... :)

Thank gawd I'm working with somebody tonight or I'd never make it awake for the whole night. I bought a new water bottle...one just for work...otherwise I'd be forgetting it all the time.

Hope your first week of work went well! Only advice - take 'er slow and easy. A couple of years out of treatment and I'm back to my old workaholic days of 50-60 hours a week. But hopefully I'll be getting out of the ratrace soon. Probably get a nice simple job, like scrubbing Skiffen's bottom (his boat, people - geez, what were you thinking)

Well.....I only had to work two nights
and then my long weekend kicked in...thank gawd for that. I was SO tired yesterday I slept half the morning...then got up and did my chores and played with Lola (the new puppy)...slept some more. I only got 9 hours sleep in those two days (it's so hard to switch from being normal night sleeper to becoming a graveyard worker)...the first day I only got two hours sleep, then the next afternoon slept for 7 hours. The bad thing about this? THRUSH....dammit...I'm positive the lack of sleep is what brought that back like a bad dream.

So now I don't have to go back till Monday night at midnight...this time tho, I'm back on my own schedule....and will work 6 graveyard shifts before I get a chance to recoop again. My workplace did have the forethought tho, to keep the temporary worker on during my co-workers vacation, so I wouldn't have to do 12 hour shifts...I'm very grateful for that.

    Say Good nite
Well glad you made it thru round one of returning to the work normal. I can imagine how your body must feel, wondering why you are trying to get it out and about when it was used to sleeping. Sounds like you will do fine, Thrush sucks, that simple so hope you are able to get rid of it over the weekend. I know I keep Dyflucan in my drawer just in case, I hated thrush. So no matter how tough it is im sure you would agree its nice to be on this end of treatment and trying to get back to normal. So finally get out your steel toe shoes and get rid of the feeding tube at your next weigh in and all will be well.

    Great Job
I'm glad you made it thru the first two days. I wish I could help. Well, then again, maybe, I should just be glad I can sleep thru the night. You're a member of that strong group that can overcome any challenge. Rick.

    Who'd a Thunk?
Who would have known how good it could feel to have to go to work? Hoping you're getting enough rest this weekend to help you start your work week feeling strong and alert.

    Wecome back to the grind.

Sorry that is back again. I've been dealing with a mild case for what seems like a month. This time I have the wafers that you put on your tongue and they dissolve 5 times a day. I find it easier to do that at work than carrying the swish and swallow.
