surgery tomorrow

I'm going in in the morning to have a right side mastectomy, my left side tissue expander removed (had that mastectomy in January), and tram flap reconstruction. They say it will be about a 12 hour process. I thought I was ready for all this, but as it gets closer, I am very emotional and extremely nervous. Any words of advice? Thanks.

Ativan is still working for me
Good luck with your surgery. I had similar surgery 4 years ago. Please remember you will have very limited physical ability for two weeks after your surgery. Please prepare everything including groceries liquids cleaning your house, paying bills. All preparations kept me very busy & my mind away.
Anti-axiety Meds I use Ativan please ask your doc
Good luck0 -
Take It Easy
Only do what the doctor tells you to do. I do believe that the surgery is a 6 week healing process, so be patient, read, listen to music, watch tv, sleep, be lazy, and heal. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
