Please let us know how your angel is doing. It's sooo hard to see them sick. They can't speak to us but we know they feel pain. I pray she recovers soon. Let us know how she is doing please. Hugs to you. xo
Thanks for the update! Keeping you and Cinnamon in my prayers.0 -

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. On Tuesday morning I woke up with another rotten case of vertigo. Today is the first day I am up and moving around the house a little.
I took my poor pooch to the vet Monday afternoon. They have two waiting rooms, one for small animals and a people waiting room for large animals. Since there were multiple dogs in the small animal waiting room, they put us on the other side. One of the receptionists was stocking food on our side and Cinnamon happy peed (cockers are known for that but she hasn't done it in years.)Well, not only she pee out blood, she peed out pus. Poor thing.
Right now she is on a high powered antibiotic for two weeks. Today I got to go out and check her urine and it was a strong yellow. Thank goodness no blood, no pus, and not the sick smell. She is still pretty tired. It worked out good that we both got sick at the same time so we did a lot of sleeping and laying around.
Her last bladder infection was in August, so the vet is worried about her having stones. He couldn't feel any, but when she gets her next bladder infection, he's going to x-ray her for stones.
BTW...as I write this in the kitchen, I am looking out the window at over 20 turkeys in the field next to us and in our yard!
Sending prayers, strength and lots of hugs to your Cinnamon!0 -

I hope cinnamon continues to improve. My cats are a huge source
of comfort to me, so I can certainly understand what you are going
through. One of mine (I have 4) drank rainwater from a commercial
flowerpot & became horribly ill recently. I think she had ingested
fertilizer from the rainwater. She seems to have pulled through.
I have gone through the urinary tract problems--definitely not
easy! I wish you the best!0 -

It was good to really that your Cinnamon is getting back on track. My cat is so special to me, these wonderful creatures help us so much. Take care of yourself, love thyself as thy pet...0 -

Turkeys? Awesome
Karie
We have about 20-21 regular turkeys that visit us either in the morning or early evening, sometimes both. That's a lot of poop I am dodging.0 -

I just wanted to thank all
I just wanted to thank all of you for your well wishes for both me and the dog. My vertigo is finally gone!! I had the valium I take when it is really bad. When it isn't that bad, I take meclizine which is so much easier on me.
Cinnamon is back to her outself, chasing the cat and leaves, barking at the table for scraps, following me all over.
I felt even worse because when I had vertigo last week, the weather was beautiful fall weather and I was laid up. Well, it was supposed to rain all week, and so far we have had three good days.
I have been over doing it with the arms by getting on the lawn tractor with the sweeper and sweeping the overabundance of leaves on the yard to help Brian since he works so much in the factory. I will be posting some pictures when I have more time.
Thanks again, everyone.0 -
