Sorry about not keeping you up on Tina

It's been a crazy 2 weeks to say the least. It's been a very hard road for Tina so far with so many ups and downs twists and turns to list. She just got out of ICU after a three day stent and I think maybe she has turned that corner. That said there is still no release date in site according to the Dr but we're hoping next week sometime. I have been going straight there form work and getting home late and crashing for the night getting up and doing it all over again hence no updates sorry. I'm hoping all is well here with all of you.

Prayers to you all

Dave & Tina

    Hugs to both of you!
It is such a hard tough road. I am glad she is doing better. Hope and pray she heals and recovers smoothly from here. You are both in my prayers.

LIFTING YOU BOTH UP IN PRAYER
What a tough road this has been for you both. You must be exhausted trying to be all and do all. And Tina has been through so much, but she's obviously a very strong woman, and with a husband like you, she'll get through this.

Continuing my heartfelt prayers for both, and your children, too.

    Dear Dave
Thank you so much for taking the time to post here. I know this experience has been very hard on you both and your family, and I can only imagine how tired you must be. Sending lots of prayers your way that Tina is released soon.

    Take care,
    Kelly

    Thank you all so much.
No mater how tied I am how much I have to do or how much anxiety I have I’m still not going through or having anywhere near the anxiety, feelings or pain that Tina or any of you ladies here have been or are dealing with with this monster. I’m doing the easy part loving, caring, supporting and making my wife as comfortable as I can through this ordeal. And not knowing first hand what Tina and you ladies are going through makes me feel guilty that you praise me and send prayers my way as I’m just doing a natural thing in my mind. You ladies need all that praise and prayers much more than I do but thank you for it. Hope you all have a very nice weekend.

    Please
do not feel guilty. The role of a caretaker is difficult. My mom is 88 and although she is is fairly good health, there are times when I have to care for her. It is hard. When she has been in the hospital I am there the whole day and when I come home, I am exhausted. Part of the exhaustion is the stress of her being ill and the fact that she has told me in the past that I am the parent now. She wants someone to look after her. I have no idea how hard it must be for you to care for Tina. We are on the other side of the disease.

During my treatment I had days where I was overcome with guilt because my cancer was causing so much stress and heartache to the people I love. I hated being a burden although no one ever made me feel that way.

So I guess we all deal with what we have to deal with. Bottom line is most of us are blessed to have people in our lives who will care for us and we will gladly reciprocate.

Hang in there Dave. It is exhausting to be the caregiver too. Don't sell yourself short. You have to be strong and set your own feelings about this disease and its affect aside to show Tina you are strong. This is not easy. I've seen my husband do this and some days he is exhausted from it all. So hang in there and take care of yourself too. Kim

    You are amazing
You need to take care of yourself so you can be there for Tina. I think it is easier to be the patient rather than the caregiver. We look forward to your updates but especially because it usually means it is not too crazy for you and Tina is doing better.
