Colonoscopy...please keep me in your thoughts and prayers
Anyway, I am praying this is just a little diverticulosis and nothing, but I would love to have my dear Pink Warriors holding my hand while I wait...and don't we just hate waiting?

Wishing for Good News for You - Pat
You're right that waiting is the hardest part. I'm hoping that you'll get reassuring news soon. (I had an idea that diverticulosis is fairly common - I've got it - and hope that this turns out to be no big deal.) It's hard that those of us with cancer diagnoses are always going to worry more than others - almost waiting for the other shoe to drop with medical tests, but information is power and once you find out what the news is, you can work out a strategy.
All best wishes, Pat0 -

I am thinking about you and sending prayers your way.
You know I hate colonoscopies. They are right up there with MRIs for me.

You have my prayers.
Cynthia,
I am usually found at the Colon Cancer Discussion Board. Happy to share my prayers and good fortune with you on your upcoming tests. Just had my 2 Year NED for IIIC Colon cancer. I too have a history of both colon cancer and breast cancer in my family history so I share your concerns. Good to have the tests but I too am awaiting to have breast ultrasounds and additional mammogram tests next week.
Prayers for good news on your tests as we each move into new territory.

Ann, I am glad you wrote and am praying that all is clear for you. I had a polyp about 24 years ago that was biopsied and negative. Since then, I've been clean and I have my colonoscopies every 5 years...sigh. The great thing is that the test is not just diagnostive, it is preventive. The bad news (for me) is still the prep. But looking forward to good news for us both :-).0 -

Doris, I just had an EGD and colonoscopy on Tuesday and they removed one polyp. I haven't heard anything, so I hope that means they will just be mailing out a benign report.
I hope you get great news the first of the week, so the anxiety can go away.

Thank you, thank you for all
Thank you, thank you for all of the good wishes!!! I never heard from my doc, but I peaked at work and found out that my biopsy=chronic colitis, but no cancer!!!! Yay!!!! I never, ever had a problem until I had that bacterial intestinal infection in May, but since then I have something like intermittent irritable bowel.
Katherine (daughter) says it is getting better and I need to be more patient. I am sure she is right, but, when the GI doc calls, I will ask his opinion.
Anyway, chronic colitis beats cancer ANY day, so yay, yay, yay. And I want each of you to know that the love and support that I received here helped me sooo much :-).0
