Hello, my loves

in Ovarian Cancer #1
I'm stopping in this AM to check in with everyone and let you know why I haven't been posting and greeting newcomers recently. My brother's pancreatic cancer returned with a vengenance. He had been clear for 2 1/2 years after suffering through the Whipple procedure. We are a small family group and I can't begin to express how devastating this is to all of us. My youngest son is coming in tonight from Maryland to spend time with his Uncle and have a chance to say his goodbyes. My Onc has allowed me to shift my chemo infusions around so that I have more quality time to be supportive. I love you all and will let you know how I'm doing.

    Sending great big hugs and prayers your way. Keeping you and your brother in my thoughts. A good friend's sister was diag. with Pancreatic cancer back in the spring. She had the whipple and yes it's grueling.... for him to go thru all of that and then have it come back..well it just sucks. Cancer sucks...boy does it suck.

    I have only been on this site a short time but i can tell you are a very strong person and thats what we have to be,God tells us he will not put more on us than we are able to bear,just turn to him he will give you the strenth you need now.My prayers are with you and your family.Debbie

    I am so sorry to hear of your brothers illness. Your family has so much to bear and you certainly accept it and deal with it all with such grace. Thanks for letting us know the circumstances.
