I missed something!!! What's going on with Pattee?
Last I heard she had some issues and was getting a consult from gastro doc via onc.
That was some weeks ago.
Hope everything turned out ok.0 -
Oncologist did a rectal
Oncologist did a rectal exam, found nothing, no blood. Which is nice, but means nothing. I had a colonoscopy set for the 8th of Oct, but had to postpone due to work, so it is like the 22nd. With clear scans and a stable CEA, oncologist doesn't think this is cancer related, but more like surgery related. Like adhesions. I am still pretty sore, bathroom urgency and pretty bad gas. Still haven't figured out how to function well as a teacher with that issue.0 -
Update
Thanks for the update and it seems like that was good news and hoping that the scope goes as well.

Thinking of you and sending prayers for the "all clear". As a fellow teacher though retired, I remember reading one of your posts when you made it to 2 years and you said you could now start thinking of "making It." I just made it to 2 Years and started to feel "Maybe OK" but had a abnormal annual mammogram so I will be doing the testing at Mayo at Rochester on Thursday. Not really wanting to try cisplaten so praying. Prayers for you.
