Scar Tissue!

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Just got the call from the doctor. Scar Tissue! Woo-hoo. I can live with that, not 'c' just a gift! I still need a specialist and will need surgery, I can deal with that. Thank you for prayers and well wishes.

    I had a chuckle at your post. You only need surgery on your eye. Most people wouldnt see the humormin that. kind of ENT cancer humor. Anyway, nice to hear the good news.

    Boy of boy does he ... we get news that, oh, you just need surgery on your eye, or it's just a hernia, or it's only an alien from outer space and will require a simple transplant....and we (H&N folk) are all good with that.... ..truly only us H&N survivors can appreciate that kind of news... :)

    I know the relief you feel about your vision. So once you get things set up w/surgery on your eye, please keep us posted. Laser surgery is the route I hope they go, much less invasive. Great news ! Will be thinking of you ! Katie

    So glad
    So glad to have so many 'abi' friends. Off to the Bay Area this afternoon. Stay at my sister's tonight and Stanford in the morning. I will probably not be online until Wed. night. (Hubby is doing the driving!)

    I live on the left coast. Bay Area to me is San Francisco area. Would love some of that fish that you have been cooking up!
