pick your brains on pathology for colon cancer

Hi Members. Does anyone know anything about desmoplastic reaction and inflammatory cell infiltrate in a pathology report for stage 3 sigmoid colon cancer ??? Cheers dinkydi8

    I had similar results.  "Desmoplastic stromal resonse" and "infiltrating the stalk" of the polyp.  :-(  I can't understand what that means.  The waiting game is the worst.  Not knowing what the prognosis is or treatment, etc.
