For those of you who are concerned for Jimbo, this is from his daughter, Candace:

Hi! Thanks for your concern. It really means a lot to have everyone's thoughts and prayers. Currently dad is in the hospice house here in town and they are trying to get his pain under control so he can come home and rest. He is supposed to go to duke medical center to talk about his options as far as chemo and everything is concerned. But he hasn't felt up to going so ill keep you updated when I know more.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jimbo and your family!!!

    Rose,

Thanks so much for the update on Jimbo, I am sorry to hear he is in hospice. Hopefully they can provide some relief so he can get back home and spend quality time with his family. Please let Candace know we all continue to pray for Jim and hope he is home feeling better soon.

    Thanks Rosie and Thanks
Thanks Rosie and Thanks Candace for update on Jimbo. His Ec is one that has been a heartbreaker for me. His was so positive in the beginning. That just lets us all know what a beast EC is.
Also my grandson's name is Jimbo- so I identify.

Praying for God's comfort and healing,
    Sandra

    Dear Candace,

Thank you very much for letting the people on this site know how Jimbo is doing. Jimbo and I have talked often and have become friends. I just want you to know that it has been an honor for me to get to know your dad. The thing that was always evident during our conversations was has much Jimbo loves his family and how much they mean to him. Please let your dad know how much his friendship means to me and I really appreciate that he took the time to talk. After fighting EC for over two years there are not many things that can cause me to breakdown and cry but hearing this news about my friend has. Please let Jimbo know I said thank you.
    Very best regards,
    Joel
