Hello,
I was diagnosed with stage 2 T3 rectal cancer back in January 2012. I have completed Chemo/rad and 3 surgeries and hopefully done with everything.
I wanted to find out what kind of follow up care, checkups are needed to catch any reoccurence.
Any help would be appreciated.

good question
First of all, congratulations on having completed your treatment!! That's wonderful.
I think follow-up varies a lot. I believe I had a scan (PET or MRI) every 3 months for the first year then every 6 months after that. Saw oncologist for check up (physical) ?? once a month.
Did your oncologist/team not discuss follow-up with you?
Others may have different follow-up experiences
Best wishes -- may you remain clear forever!!
