at our local active volcano, Mt. Rainier. Having beautiful sunny fall weather here in Seattle, but it may snow up at the mountain tomorrow, so should be an interesting trip. Hope all have a lovely weekend, whatever the plan might be! Ann Alexandria
Must be a very special experience!

Its going to be a great weekend..no chemo!! We are having visitors from Denmark next week for a week so we are going to power clean the house. With taking chemo we don't get as much done around the house. So this is forcing us to get it done. Pray everyone has a great weedend and stays well. Jeff

Hi joy congrats for the job you are doing for our cause!Joy1216 said:Volunteered Today
I spent all day today volunteering with Fight Colorectal Cancer as they filmed interviews with and took pictures of CRC survivors and their families. This is for their Public Service Announcement (PSA) that will be aired next March during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. I was in a few of the pictures. Hearing the stories of these folks was awesome. Oh, yes, I got to meet former KC Royals baseball great Frank White. Gonna be tough to top this the rest of my weekend.
Joy
Hope you hang the video once finished!
Hugs my friend enjoy your meeting!0 -
Congrats to **** !Kathleen808 said:Surprise for ****'s birthday
Our daughter flew back from college in California today to surprise **** for his birthday on Sunday!!! It was so cool when we picked her up at the airport. He thought we were picking up a friend. Start to a great weekend. When deciding to surprise her dad she said to me, "Dad's birthdays are really special. I don't want to miss any."
Aloha,
Kathleen
It's been a really sensational idea Kathleen!
Good start for the week end ,hugs to both!0 -

Celebrating sweet baby boy's 1st birthday! Can't believe it. My husband has his second treatment today...still without avastin due to biopsy incision not being healed...so we hope he feels good for the party. doing some cooking, cleaning that goes along with the party, plus Church and maybe a fair if we can fit it in.
Hope your husband feels well enough to enjoy your plans. Try and put all your worries aside and focus on your little guy. Hope you and your family have a great weekend!

Hi marble enjoy your Clear scans!marbleotis said:Dinner with the family
It is nice to be able to say that since receiving "clear scan" news on 9/19/12. I will sew of course because what else is new. I was looking at a new serger that I may buy. My old serger is very hard to thread because of the neuropathy. Hum....... I see a new serger in my future. Now I just have to sneak this in the house.
Have a great day!

Today's plans were cancelledabrub said:Tomorrow a party
Tomorrow, an early Oktoberfest party. Sunday, a visit to my sister's alpaca farm with my Spanish friend (of paella fame) and her 3 little boys (aged 9, 9, and 10).
Good to keep busy - Monday at 7:30, I have a breast biopsy.
Stuck home on a rainy, gray day, thinking about my biopsy tomorrow. Not good.
Busy feeling sorry for myself.0 -
