Even though it is raining outside I think today is going to be a good day.

Glad for you Vivian ..ditto1 said:Prayers work
glad to know Wells Fargo is reconsidering your request. Now you and your husband can go HOME and get on with getting him thru treatment and healed of this lousy disease.
Wow, I can't imagine the stress of being a caregiver, newlywed and wondering if you will have your home during the Holiday season.
I remember I was not quite half-way thru treatments when I came home for Christmas (109 mile drive up the valley to my home) and the tree was up and all the presents were under the tree...it was a hard drive for me, but being home made it all worth it.
Know that your online friends are with you and I am keeping you and David in my prayers. (Even though I originally thought it was you who had the cancer) ...say hello to David for me.
Best,

Tim,
Sometimes when I see my husband suffer I wonder why? Why does he have to go through this and why are we in the midst of this crisis so early in our marriage. Well I am just going to believe God has a plan for our lives and my husband will conquer this cancer and we will have a wonderful life together. However, right now this sucks big time.0 -
Good news...
First, happy news that David is coming HOME. And also glad to hear that news with the bank. One less thing not to worry about as much.
It's tough dealing with the day to day things in life while dealing with this thing called cancer. The world doesn't stop as much as we'd like it to. So many stresses to deal with all at the same time.
I'm so glad we have some very supportive friends here on ACN and are with us during the beginning stages of this frightening experience. I feel like everyone here has our back and understands and are there to lift us up when we need it. Bless them for their words of encouragment.0 -
What is it with these big banks....
one hand doesn't know what the other is doing!!?? I am SO glad you received this new letter, and that you might not have to go thru the BS of trying to move at the same time fight the C battle. Maybe give the bank a call and make sure they know what they are doing and saying (can you even call a human at Wells Fargo??)
Congrats on hubby coming home....I'll bet he'll feel way better once there.

Well David didn't react to the org tube feeding the way the doctors hoped. He got sick from the feeding while I went home for a shower. So they stopped feeding from 10:30 until 5. The doctor said he needs to stay a little longer until he can tolerate 6 cans of ensure in a day. He is at 1.5. Oh well better safe than sorry. So another night for me on the hospital provided couch. All I can say is Nyquil here I come.0 -
Sorry Vivian...one more night. On a side note...VivianLee5689 said:one more night

Tim I'm glad you enjoy aspects of your job. Also I am posting from my phone and I am hating the spell check. It changed PEG tube. Lol0 -

Vivian,
I too had a really hard time with my feedings. I kept getting sick after each feeding. They did all kinds of tests to determine if there was a blockage or something and nothing ever showed up. My GI finally ordered me a continuous feed pump. They started me on it in the hospital and then one was delivered to me at home. I spent 3 days in the hospital before we found this to work. It is a very slow but continuous feed. Once I got on that I didn't get sick again. I could feed all night while sleeping and whenever I was just sitting and watching tv. After a while you can increase the flow and the feed will go slightly faster until you find a speed that works for him. It's super easy to use and not very big, smaller than an IV pump. Just something to think about, maybe it will work for your hubby.
Take care,

Congrats. Now, back to focusing on other stressors. Hope the docs figure out a feeding method that's successful soon.
At least you know how to work your smart phone ...I have a smart phone but am too dumb to figure out how to post on web sites from it ..
