earlier today. I have resumed my plans to through hike on the Ozark Highlands Trail in December. This was a trip that got interrupted last winter by my recurrent cancer. I am now NED, seven months out, and wish the same for you Bob. May this crap be just a timeout for you too.
Pat
Oh, so excited for you and your hike! Can't wait to see some pics when you get back. Congrats on your NED and for putting those boots back on.

I thought we got rid of you.....
Sorry that you find yourself back here under these circumstances.
You don't have to ask for thoughts and prayers, you're in them...but I will throw a few extra your way.

I thought you were out hiking! Sorry for the reason for your return. Still a great group of people on here, and with your return some old timers will poke on in. I am a 2 timer at the cancer game. Radiation left me with some not so nice long term effects. I am finally getting an MRI on Thursday, I've been having double vision for 3 weeks, really makes it difficult to read or type! Will you be going back to the Bay Area again?
I'm still in the Bay Area; Marin; Fairfax. Love this place too much to leave except for some backpacking. I'll be thinking about you tomorrow and praying for some answers to your vision issues. Thanks for the welcome back,

Tough break Bob. Good thoughts and some positive energy coming your way. Really hope this time is easier than the first and gets rid of this stuff for good. Stay strong! Cheers

Bob,
Sorry to hear this. You've always had a great attitude and I'm sure that will help you win this round as it has in the past. Enjoy that Grand Canyon hike! Will be sending a bunch of positive energy your way and I know you said not to, but might have to sacrifice a critter in your honor (will only be a couple a small pansize fish - hope you don't mind)
My best to you

You've done it before so it's time to do it again. We haven't met (until today that is) but everyone is just so darn supportive it's hard not to kick butt!
Wishing you prayers and support on this next journey.
