6 year Survivor
For anyone that wants to talk, I am a six year survivor. I am 38 years old and have been through it all: chemo, radiation, surgery, j-tubes, weight loss, nausea, you name it.
If you want to talk, I am here.
Gods Blessings,
David White

Esophageal Cancer Survivor
Hello David,
I'm so happy to have found you. I work for the DLH Foundation. Our mission/purpose is to help patients and families who are battling esophageal and stomach cancers. The foundation was established by the Hamilton family to honor their 39 year old daughter, Deana, who died of Signet Cell Esophageal cancer. We are looking for survivors to share their stories to offer hope as well as trying to find patients to utilize and help us build our foundation. Currently we are revising our website to serve as a resource patients and families can use to help them through the process. (The Hamilton's learned quite a bit during Deana's battle.) We are also looking for family members of patients around the San Diego area to award college scholarships to. Our long term goal is to fund research for prevention and cures as well as hire a medical consultant as we grow.
Anything you can do to help would be so appreciated.
All the best,
Jami Shapiro0 -

Hi David,
I am curious, what cancer did you have? Esophageal?
And what stage were you?
Can we have more information?
Thank you!
