I'm 53 and always loved Cheech and Chong in their prime. The satire and self deprecating humor that they used is classic. My favorite routine of theirs was always the two dogs Ralph and Herbie. Just listening to it, I could close my eyes and picture these two dogs! I never did care for Beavis and Butthead, that sort of toilet humor just doesn't appeal to me. Unless I'm cataclysmically blown out of my gourd, then even "pull my finger" can start a serious case of giggles.
Being 80,I remember Laurel and Hardy. My favorite is at a construction site Oliver(the heavyset one)is holding a rope to a pully with a wooden keg of nails. He hands the rope to Stanly( the real slim one). The nails weigh more than Stan,so they come down and he goes up. Upon hitting the ground the bottom of the keg breaks, releasing the nails. Now Stan comes down and the empty kek goes up. Upon hitting the ground, Stan lets go of the rope. Now the keg comes down and hits Stan. I;s a real sight gag. hope you can visuaize it. LOL0 -

Marinol
My daughter in law is a nurse at UCLA and she really believe Marinol is very safe. My husband has been taking it since Feb when he started Chemo. He is not on any treatment for now finished chemo with 1.9 CEA but some days he still takes the Marinol because he needs to gain some weight. Glad you finally got home and got hungry. EAT lots of carbs0 -

Such great shows! When I was growing up, they used to show Laurel and Hardy every Sunday afternoon and sometimes the Three Stooges. It would be great if they went back to movies like that on Sunday afternoons. Glad you're feeling better and doing so well doc! pull my finger . . .buh dum dum. I'm here all night, eat the chicken.0 -

There's a reason why those old shows are classics! I find what passes for comedy these days to be too vulgar and just not funny at all. When I was living here in Utah when I was about 10, the Egyptian theater on Saturdays in the summer would run a double feature of old movies along with a vintage newsreel and a Commander Cody or Rocketman serial episode, all for a quarter. I used to love it when they'd have a Hope and Crosby Road movie!0
