The Tri-Cities consistes of Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco. It's where the Snake River meets the Columbia River and also where the Plutonium was made that eventually ended the war.

Thanks so much for thelynn1950 said:The depression and anxiety
The depression and anxiety were the worst part of the whole shebang for me, as well. If you are still in the middle of it, don't despair. It takes a lot of time, but it does get better. Things happen, like a broken toe heals, and all of a sudden, faith in your body is reborn, if just for a moment. These moments, moment by moment, add up. I needed a lot of help with my anxiety and depression - therapy, exercise, friends, this website, medication - I through the works at it.
Maybe time has been the most effective healer, I don't know. I will wish peace for you. xoxoxo Lynn
Thanks so much for the encouraging words. Yeah, I'm trying medication and exercise too. We went through something like this before when one of my kids had leukemia, and we came out of it, so I know we'll get through this.
Best wishes, Pat0 -

Philly born and raised then...47ronin said:Born in Phila.
Hi, I'm fairly new here and don't post as often as I'd like to. I was born in Phila. 58 years ago, and live in Cherry Hill, NJ, about 12 miles east. I was diagnosed on Friday the 13th, Jan 13, this year with invasive ductal carcinoma, Stage II, had a bilateral mastectomy on March 4, and am doing herceptin every 3 weeks. (I did the Taxotere and Carboplatin bit and hated every minute of it.)
The depression and anxiety have been tougher for me than the pain (although Neulasta was pretty horrible), so it's been great for me to talk with all of you on the board. I have a husband and 2 sons, but they don't know what it's like and I couldn't expect them to.
Best wishes for health and happiness for all of us.

I have some cousins in Cherry Hill! You can do this. Some great docs there but its difficult to find cancer center type care. Hope you are getting what you need. The guys have a hard time getting it sometimes, I KNOW! Have a cheesesteak or a cannoli or both and be good to yourself. This place is awesome. Just vent away and ask away, someone will always be back with what you need to know.
You are a little younger than me, but went through all this and more in 2003. It is totally doable girl.0 -

Carol, I had no idea we are so close! I live right near the Wesley fire. Talk about smoke. Boise is my big city for medical care etc. xoxoxo Lynn0 -
