The End.

It look's like the end has come for my dear brother. He is currently in the hospital on a ventilator after what was suppose to be a small surgery 9/11/12 to relieve fluid from around his heart. The surgery went well, but coming out of the recovery room he started to have problems. He could not breathe, so he was placed on a ventilator that night when we was struggling to breathe. They tried to remove him from the ventilator yesterday with no success. His wife met with pallitative care today and they are saying he will not survive without the ventilator. With the EC tumor there are too many complications. We know he would not want to be left on a ventilator. So tomorrow at 11:00am he will be removed from the ventilator. I will drive down in the morning to be with my brother and his wife. Please pray for us. I pray I have strength. I am not sure how I am going to handle this. I have tried to be strong throughout the last two months for both my brother and his wife. I am not sure if I have much strength left. I am a wreck today and not doing well at all. I pray he goes quickly without pain or suffering as he has been in a hell since he was diagnosed on July 13, 2012.
Thank you to all of you that have responded to my earlier discussions with advice and kind words. They have all been appreciated. I am touched by every story and wish and hope that the outcome for others is much better than my brother's story.

Dear Gail,
I am so sorry to hear about your brother. I pray you will have the strength to meet this passage head on and that your dear brother is comfortable and pain free. I know your sister in law will be grateful to have you with her during this difficult time.
Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family!

Gail,
I know tomorrow will be a difficult day, but try to remember that your brother will be released from his body that is filled with pain and will be in a place where there is no cancer or suffering. Those left behind will be saddened by his passing but for him it will be a release from suffering.
Sadly,
Paul Adams
