Doctor suggestions

My grandmother was diagnosed with primary liver cancer today. We will be going to an oncologist tomorrow to learn the stage and type of cancer. I would love to know if anyone here has a doctor recommendation so we can ensure we have the best medical advice and treatment options available to us. We're in Michigan, but are willing to travel if needed.
Thanks for any advice.

U of M?
I have looked at the information re. the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center in Ann Arbor with interest. http://www.med.umich.edu/cancer/cancertreat/liver/index.shtml It seems like someone else on the board had good things to say about it. Just a little too far for us - we are in the midwest but it would be a long drive. Good luck.0 -
University of Michigan turns
University of Michigan turns out a lot of fine Oncologists. My cancer is rare and when I was first diagnosed in 1994 they had to ship it off and Michigan were the only ones to identify what the heck it was.
THEY ARE VERY HIGHLY RATED, I BELEIVE INE OF THE TOP 15 IN THE COUNTRY.
Hope this helps some, stay positive, God bless you.
