Hello to all my friends!
Hello to all my friends! I'm not doing great but I'm still here. I had a scan last week and the cancer has spread to the liver, pancreas, adrenal gland mesentary, peri aortic something and one last place. Heading to Duke this week for recommendations. I stay pretty tired but overall I'm enjoying the time I have remaining. I apologize for my quiet absence. I do chech the site often but I've just been too tired to post. I would love to make it until August for my 25th anniversary. My wife and I still love each other so much so making that milestone with her would be amazing. She's a special person and I hate to leave her or my kids. I've always taken pride in supporting and providing for my family. It hurts to think of the on their own.
I see my therapist today so I'm sure we'll have an interesting hour. I do recommend anyone diagnosed to get a therapist involved as soon as possible. Mine is faith based which helps also.
If/when I pass, I've asked my daughter to update the site to give everyone closure on my journey. I always hate that when people just stop posting.
All my love, respect and thanks to everyone!0 -

You're such a special guy and a huge inspiration to all. It's truly a difficult road you walk, but with spunk, spirit, and fight. You will be in daily prayers. Keep up the good fight. I wish I had thought about a therapist for my mom. What a wonderful idea!
Love and hugs,

Jimbo, I'm praying you will still be here for your 25th anniverary. What a beautiful expression of feeling you have for your wife and children. You are both so blessed.
Thanks for thinking of us and asking your daughter to update us.
