stomach cramps....

Hi,

have been having severe stomach cramps. Cannot sit or stand without feeling it
Am on A/C. finished 3 rounds, one more to go and 12 rounds of Taxol. Don't know how I am going to survive this. Any ideas for the cramps.
Not eating at all, cannot get anything down.
Too tired.

    You should call your oncologist and report these side effects.......especially the nausea and not keeping anything down....that could lead to dehydration and quickly....especially if you are experiencing diarrhea.....Your oncologist should be made aware of this sooner, rather than later....there's almost always something that helps side effects...call him!

    Yes, I had that too.
    What really helped me is prescription Prilosec. Can you get hold of your oncologist to send a prescription to your pharmacy? You would have immediate relief.

    Decadron was also the culprit
    After I posted the prescription Prilosec advice I remembered that it was paired with a reduction in Decadron. That drug causes so many side effects! After it was reduced and I took the Prilosec I didn't have that problem again. And it was the worst during A/C.

    You are going through a very hard time right now, and I sure understand. Let us know how this is resolved!

    The nutritionist thinks it could be gas but it was so painful.
    Waiting to see what the dr says.
