Back to reality this week.
Like before once I stop chemo they pop up. Then surgery to remove ect. Praying this time is it as will be my 3rd major surgery since I started this fight.
As long as they are cutting out cancer cells and I can still walk, I say have at it!

Facing surgery
As another here biding my time before I submit myself to the surgeons knife I can understand the anxiety and frustrating feelings this period brings. The uncertainty of the scans and then the process of the surgery and recovery are all challenging. However, it is a short period of unpleasantness to tolerate in order to gain the hope of a long period of pleasantness. These hard times will pass and you will look back on them as challenges you faced and beat.
Move forward with hope.

Update: The surgery went ok, they removed all the nodules but one. Dr said it was distant and if removed that one I would lose to much lung capacity. Its small (about the size of a dime) so said can easily eliminate it with radiation. Will return back for that after this lung heals from surgery. Said would only take 4 treatments.
Had scan done also and liver, pelvis ect were all NED. (yay) also other lung had some fluid in it from prev surgery in July so could not read it. They drained fluid in at while there also. Apparently something didnt seal from prev surgery. Just waiting now and going back for radiation & will see what happens next. Will update again later.0 -

So very glad the surgery went well and that they can get the remote one with radiation.
Sounds like you are doing well. NED on all other areas is great!
Prayers for quick healing and full recovery.

how much b6 are you taking? Are you on Oxaliplatin? How many treatments and how oftern?
I just started my first treatment today, 2 times a month i go and sit in the chair and they pump it in my for 2 hours and then i leave with the pump of 5fu for two days.
I had hair thinning with the 5fu before on my first round of chemo that was with radiation. i then had my surgery in august for a colostomy bag, but found out in surgery that i was te low % for a reversable illiostomy bag, so i'm doing this chemo for 8 treatments then i will have my reversal. So i was wondering what these two new drugs will do to my hair, just thinning or what.
Please reply about the b6 dosage and about the hair.
Thank you
