Sue,
I would say you deserve a vacation. A few weeks after my surgery in August, 2002 my wife booked us on a Carrabean Cruise in early 2003. Our 11th annual Carribean Survival cruise is coming up in February 2013.

That is wonderful you went on a cruise after having surgery. I am looking forward to going to panama city beach in April. We usually go in April And October but have missed both times this due to illness. 2013 i hope is a better year. LOL0 -

Yes lets toast to that. I am so glad tumor was found early and is now gone. The university hosp where I had sugery had me sign a paper to release tumor to them for research. I said sure after you get it out of me feel free to do with it as u please.LOL0 -
Nausea
I battled nausea and vomiting as well. The doctor had me get lactobacillia (sp?) from the pharmacy. It helps to restore the good bacteria in your digestive system. Check with your doctor to see if this will help you. It does not require a prescription, but is usually kept in a refrigerator in the pharmacy. I helped me a lot!
Feel better,

Thats great to hear Brea, I am about to start my journey, go to see anaethetist on Tuesday, so it would appear that surgery is not too far away. Hope my path lab results are as good as yours. Good luck in your recovery.
Sue,
I hope you are feeling better than you were a couple of days ago. It takes quite a while to get over all of the effects. Just hang in there.
and Mickf,
Should we call you Mick? Welcome to the group. I am so glad you found us early in your journey. There is a wealth of knowledge and, more importantly, empathy for each other here. Keep us posted on your progress and let us know if you have any questions. There is likely somebody in the group that has been there before you. We're here for each other.

Hi John , please feel free to call me Mick. many thanks for your words of support. I found this site quite early on in my diagnosis and have found it to be a great source of comfort and encouragement. I will keep you all posted as my journey continues, and if at the post operative stage, I can offer anyone support along their journey, I will. Many thanks one and all
