Grape salad
4 #'s grapes
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz sour cream
1/2 c Sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1c Chopped walnuts
I use all red grapes, they're sweeter and need less sugar. You can do both red and green.
Beat crm cheese, sr crm, sugar & vanilla. Fold over grapes, mix in walnuts, reserving enough to top.
This is so yummy and refreshing! It makes a lot, half a recipe goes a long way.
As I have mentioned, hubby is retired - so occasionally watches daytime TV. He raved about a recipe he saw on Rachael Ray. I made it tonight for friends and got rave reviews. It's Salmon Burgers and Tartar Sauce. Google It - if you like salmon, you'll love this. It's worth the several steps involved.

I know it's not super bowl time but this can be shaped any way you like.
Super Bowl Party Cheeseball
4oz jar of Old English Cheese Spread
4oz jar of Olive and Pimento Spread
8oz Cream Cheese
Ritz Crackers
Stick Pretzels
Mix all 3 cheeses, chill them in order to make shaping easier
You can roll this in some crushed ritz (crush finely) to make handling and shaping possible.
Shape like a football on a large plate, this is super easy.
Use your stick pretzels to make the laces
This is the best Cheeseball recipe I've ever tried, mm mm good.
Enjoy,
Kari
I got this from a sister on here, made it, and, loved it. For those that like salmon, try it.
This is so good and easy to make. a can of salmon can be substituted with shrimp or crab
To make life easier buy a pre-made pie crust.
Filling: 1/2 med onion chopped, 2 TBS butter, salt and pepper, tsp chopped or minced garlic, chopped parsley, 4 eggs, 2 cups milk )half n half is best. 1 cup or more drained salmon or shrimp, 1 cup grated cheese.
chop the onion and saute it in butter. Add salt and pepper to taste, a little chopped garlic or garlic powder and parsley. Remove from heat. Beat the eggs and milk together lightly. Cube salmon and stir into onion mixture; then add it all to eggs and milk. Add the cheese and pour mixture into pie shell. Bake at 350 for approx 30 min, could be a little longer.0 -

Kale Chips
Very healthy snack.
Cut bite size off of the stem. Arrange in a pan. Sprinkle with olive oil and garlic salt. Bake at 350, stirring occasionally to distribute olive oil. Check at 10 minutes and every minute until crisp but not burned! Usually takes 12-15 minutes.
Enjoy!

They're actually quite tasty. I told a friend about them and she took leftovers in a baggy to work and said they were just as good! The garlic salt (or powder) probably helps the taste. Maybe play around with other herbs too!

I've made this watergate salad Noel more times than I want to remember. LOL It is very easy and always a big hit. One thing to point out about it, with some allergic to nuts, I always put a couple of large nut pieces on the top so everyone can see it has nuts in it.
Just a tip!0 -
