Good question
NitaNita,
Hey girl, I think you're right on the colors. I saw a really cool bouquet of ribbons with all cancers in it. Was very cool. Anyways, great to hear from you...and glad to hear your doing so well ! I'm good for now, and I'll take that ! Warmest regards lady ! Katie0 -

Head and Neck Cancer - Burgundy/Ivory
I'm not advertising, nor endorsing this web site below or their products, though some are kind of cool.
Head and Neck Cancer - Burgundy/Ivory
Just posted as an example of the colors...
I thought that it was Burgundy and Cream, but I see Ivory everywhere...

Tongue cancer is part of head and neck cancer and yes our color is burgundy and ivory or just burgundy alone. My surgeon is a head and neck surgeon and they have the cutest logo (not sure how to post a pic of it) but it is a giraffe with it's head and neck bent around like the shape of the ribbon. It's so cute. So I guess the giraffe is now our official H&N animal :-)
My dr has a support group too at USC head and neck department, its online if anyone would like to see the logo, I just don't know how ro post pictures one here.
All of my friends and family buy me giraffes now.

I am getting a tattoo and wanted to make sure that the tongue cancer was part of the head and neck cancer. It is on here so I assumed it was. I looked up and all the colors say those colors. I am thinking those cuz I am in hope that someone may ask what those colors stand for and can bring awareness for tongue cancer and all the head and neck cancers. Thank you for the feed back and thinking of you all every day.0 -

Billie, posting photos is the easy part, making the links to them is usually what takes everyone a little lesson.
To post photos, do them in your "expressions" pages...
To make a link to them, shoot me a PM and I can explain it....
Actually there is a video that my friend (PhillieG) on here made..
How To Create A Link

Nita...
Where are your going for your ink? The 2 tats I have were done back east, my niece designed my next one based on what I told her I was thinking about, but don't know of any local shops.

I know someone that has a buisness out of his home that does amazing work. I am getting the verse, What time I am afraid I will trust in thee..Psalms 56:3 and the cancer ribbon. I know several people that do tattoos but the guy that is doing mine I think is the best. Let me know if you are interested.0 -

Nita,
Yes I would be interested, I'd rather have someone give me a reference than go somewhere and not like the outcome. Thanks !!!
