for the UK'ers on board
I'm considering sending my stuff to him for a consult and wondered if I was wasting my money.
Thanks,
Tricia

Hi
When I was going for surgery, I researched my surgeon, and he was the best in his field of laproscopy surgery. I've looked up your surgeon, and oh my he is very good. Not sure how to do this as a proper link so I apologise.

Don't know much about the guy and can't find anything very enlightening on the internet. He is clearly working within a unit that is a tertiary centre where other hospitals send peoploe for more specialist opinions once people have moved beyond what the local hospitals can manage. He is also clearly one of teh few using the laser surgery- can't find any published results of his work so hard to judge what kind of outcomes he is getting.
Not sure, also, what you are looking at doing- are you looking for an opinion as to whether laser surgery would work for you and then treatment here. This would be complex to arrange unless he does this provately as the NHS isn't an easy system for overseas people to access (it isn't set up for paying customers ultimately). However, these very specialist centres may be able to sort out something- is this not available in your area?
Sorry - no clear answers but happy to give general advise about accessing the NHS as it is the system I work in,
