Praying for you and hoping
Praying for you and hoping there are very little side effects this time. You have been such an inspiration for me thru my treatments, and I have heard you say there is no such thing as whining, so you are not whining. Sending you good thoughts and prayers.0 -

So VERY glad for you! It seems like a long, long time, on this bus ride. Mine has been over since June 15 as I didn't have chemo, but it has been so much harder for you and others, that I'm surely glad it's about over! You can rest and not dread the chemo day!!
Keep up the good work! I had my first scope and got all clear, and last Thursday had my 1st CT scan and they are in no hurry to tell me the results, so I'm trying to "chill". I figure that if it's bad, they would have called right away, and if not, well, that's good, so I'm just hanging!! lol
Thanks for all the encouragements to all of us!!0 -
Thanks everybody....
I seem to get scared the day before treatment, then once I've had it I plod thru it, the couple weeks of the mouth thing goes pretty fast, and I have to spend time making sure I get enough hydration and food down the tube (so far I haven't found it easy taking "micro-care" of myself during these 2 1/2 weeks it takes to start healing....wonder what's with that? It's not like I've got so much other things to do...LOL.)
But you guys give me courage to get thru it, I know many of you have had it way worse than me....far more pain during other parts of the treatment...and you all made it, and so will I. Thanks for tucking me into your pockets.

That is so fantastic to hear! I'm so happy for you. It's been a long road for sure and the mouth sores suck (hopefully you have some tx for that). You've made it this long. Continue to be strong and know we are praying for you phrannie!0 -

Yep- not much of said tx road left for you, girl. Probably still got a lotta bumps, and all that insignificant stuff that's just trying to make your ride rougher, not to mention a wee bit treacherous, but keep your foot on the accelerator and keep moving forward, Phrannie. Your treatment road, like John's, etc., has lasted a whole lot longer than mine did, and I would wager that you might be more anxious for it to end more than I did- you are about to get there. Last of the fight, Phrannie, and I gotta hunch old C is more than just kinda woozy right about now from the onslaught you and your Drs have dealt him. Time to deal him one last haymaker. The b------ was trying to kill you, Phrannie. Time for the final payback, girl...You are only a couple weeks from the official start of your 2nd chance at life. Seems to me that's something to really look forward to. If anyone's deserving, and earned it- it is you, now, Phrannie.

Road To Being Yourself Again
I had ChemoLight. So I didn't think I was under the weather. But in retrospect: my mood, energy level etc improved over the next three months. So I think you can expect to see improvements not just over three weeks but over three months or longer. At least I hope you are on the road to constant improvement. And I hope I (and the rest of us) are also on that road. Rick.0
