Buzz has lost his battle

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Buzz passed away August 19, at home. I was at his side. His tongue cancer recurred in May and despite palliative chemo, the cancer still grew. He was placed on Hospice a month ago. I want to thank everyone on the forum who helped me through the difficult times during his treatment and illnesses. God bless you all. Karen

    I am sorry to read this. No words that I type here can possibly relieve you and your family from the pain you feel at this time. Hopefully, as time passes, so does the pain and only fond memories will remain.

    Words Are Never Enough....
    Karen, words can never express the sorrow I have when we lose one of our family of survivors....

    Buzz fought the fight the battle and walked proud through all of this with you at his side.

    I am very sorry to hear this news.

    I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. Buzz was blessed to have you by his side through his journey here on earth. There is a time to be strong and a time to be weak. You were so strong for Buzz that I hope you allow yourself to be weak and let others help you through this difficult time. God bless.

    Peace be with you and
    your family, Karen we all know on this site the possibility we could lose the battle. We get inspiration from those on this site to let us know we can make it, it will be tough but we can. But in reality we know it also may take us. Diane and I have lost love ones to cancer as Im sure most on these sites have. But with testimonies like Buzzs and yourself no matter the end result is a blessing. We will all meet our maker one way or the other and Buzz is in a better place, no pain, no sorry. So for you and the family we wish you peace and just good memories of Buzz.
