sorry to to hear all this
I myself will probably be edmitted today into the hospital, it all depends on the kidney numbers. Crosssing my finegers the numbers come down. The thought of a group home scares me, maybe betrween the DR's and you they come up with something that will work at home. Your in my prays. Do they know what causing the loose bowel movement? seems like the should be able to control that. What we have to go through. Does want you to just scream or cry. hang in there. Kathy0 -
Anne it hurts me to see you
Anne it hurts me to see you in such turmoil. How far into treatments are you? Do the drs say this will subside once treatments are over. Aren't you taking cisplatin? Funny how it affects us all differently. I was constipated for days with that stuff. I wish and pray for better days for you!

for all you are going through Anne. Are you still having chemo? Cisplatin did a number on me as far as bowel control. I had several incidents where I could not make it to the bathroom. I ended up in the hospital with low electrolytes. The doctor arranged for a porta-potty for when I came home. I never used it because I didn't have the last chemo and I got well in the hospital.
I pray they find the problem and get you feeling better. This is so hard on you and your parents.

Dear Anne, I do wish there
Dear Anne, I do wish there was something really profound I could say to make all you have been going through make since. I wouldn't want a group home either, but it does sound like your parents have reached their fear level. They are so afraid they will break and make you feel worse. I don't have a solution except to turn the whole thing over to God and let him take the burden off of you. I will keep you in my prayers and in the meantime let go and let God work. Love, debrajo0 -

I'm praying with all my might that something can be worked out that allows you to stay at home. We're here for you anytime you need support.
Sending you prayers and lots of big hugs,

Oh, wow
I am so sorry to hear about your dilemma. The thought of having to leave your home has got to be causing you a lot of anguish and stress. Would your insurance be able to cover some kind of intermittent home health care? This might take some of the burden off your parents, and allow you to stay at home.
Prayers and strength,
Jo0 -
so sorry
I hope you do not have to leave your home but if it happens could it be just a temporary solution? You have gone thru so much lately there has got to be a break for you soon.

mom thinks dad for the first time saw how sick I really was and that is why he is saying group home. She does not want me in a group home and has told him so but he is afiead that if mom is down sick she is also on disability with migrians and fybromyalga and something happens no will know until he get home. He does not understand what going into a group home will do to me I use to run one and no matter how good the manager is once they go home the workers can be so crule I had to fire several for abusing my clients. So it scares me to go into one.

Anne, we have recently been made aware of a program called(don;t freak)hospital hospice. My sted-dad went there for three weeks before he went into a skilled living home. At the hospital hospice they gave him a priviate room, snacks, three meals,Ensure, wound treatment, counsiling, chaplan services, aids, nursed(lvn,rn), losts of rest, and tons of petting and being loved and cared for. It is a short-term care that gets you back on your feet and gives everyone a little space and down-time. Whats really nice is Medicare pays for all of it. The one here is called Horbor Hospice Hospital here in Texas. Maybe they could help you get some over-due rest. Just a thought, best, debrajo0 -

Anne, I just want to let you know I am thinking about you and praying for you. I hope you can find some help that will be beneficial financially, medically and emotionally. I only have Medicaid and it's a pain to get assistance for things. So I know how u feel0 -

that sound like something I would do if I knew I was coming home in three weeks but I dont have Medicare I have to wait two year to apply for it. I have AHCCSS I will have to check and see if they would pay for it.
