My friend is having stage 1 tongue cancer and doctor advised for immediate surgery. Dr says that this can be 100% cured. Any thought on this..

Only good thoughts
Tim,
Warmest wishes sent your way for a clear scan ! My oncs only do a head to toe once a year unless major issues going on. Insurance companies are such a pain ! But also CT's and Pets are rough on our bodies. I heard that MRI's are less so. So I guess I understand why the docs want to do most less. Keep us posted Tim, and will be thinking only good thoughts for you ! Katie0 -

Please go to the primary head & neck page and at the top you will see a prompt to start a new discussion. If you do that, I'm certain you get the feedback you are looking for. Personally, I did not have tongue cancer but lots of people with favorable results on this site.0 -

Wow - looks like three of us with Tuesday scans. When do you think you'll get your results? Skiffin probably already has his, and I'm hoping to get mine by phone Friday. I'm asking for happy news all the way round.
