Hello Ladies,

I am here to complete one of my mothers last wishes. She asked that if something happened to her that I log-in and let everyone know.

On June 19th, 2012 we went to the DR to get her latest PET scan results. The results were not good. Her spot on her liver had grown and the cancer had spread to her spine, her breast bone and her lungs. The DR was still optimistic that with the right chemotherapy he could maintain the cancer and keep it in check. Mom had decided at that time to go ahead and start a new chemo treatment and she did it on that date. That treatment took her down. When we were at the DR that day she was about 114lbs and within a week she was about 100lbs. The abraxene was very hard on her. She got neuropothy (sp?)in her hands and feet and it made her very weak. July 2nd 2012 we had hospice come in and on July 24th she went to be with Jesus. She passed away at home with all of her children and grandchildren around her. We will all miss her terribly and the emptiness she has left inside of us will never be filled.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you ladies that have helped her, listened to her, and bonded with her over the last couple of years. She enjoyed this website very much and would always tell me about you wonderful ladies.

    I am so, so sorry and filled with sadness over the passing of your beloved mom. We will never forget her kindness, support and love to the countless women fighting this disease.     I am so sorry for your families loss. Your mother was such a positive person on this sight. I am going to miss her posting and all her wit. Linda we will miss you terribly and we will all keep fighting for a cure for this horrible cancer. You will be missed by all your teal sisters. My prayers are going up for you and your family. Your mother was one of the sisters on here that helped me through my journey. I know that she is now one of God's teal angels up in heaven. My you and you family find peace someday with her passing.     I am so sorry for your loss, Shannon.
    Your mom was such a kind woman. A few weeks ago when she was already facing such difficulties she took the time to console me about my possible recurrence. The fact that she wanted to be sure you let us know about her passing also demonstrates what she was all about. She made a difference in my life and I truly feel I have lost another friend. It is so hard but I know it pales in comparison to what you and your family are going through.

    This is very sad
    news for me. Linda was so strong, compassionate and always positive and she encouraged me many times. She was a very special lady to me and I will miss her so much.

    And my feelings are nothing compared to what you must be going through Shannon. My prayers are with you and your family today. Thank you for fulfilling your mom's wishes and coming on here to let us know.

    I am so sorry for your loss.There are no words when you lose your mom. Time will heal. I read your mother's history from the beginning of her cancer. She was diagnosed in 1991. She is an inspiration to all of us that she has beat back this cancer for nearly 21 years. Kim

I say 'has' because even though she is in the Loving Arms of our Lord and Savior, her memory continues in you and your family. She will be truly missed here as well, but she will not be forgotten. Her words of encouragment, and her faithfulness to come here to help even though she was going through so much, is a testimony to her character and love.

    Gave me so much help when I first started posting here. She would tell me stories about her family and grandchildren...one I will always remember was when her grandson asked why she had only one eyelash...I still smile at this. I miss her very much and thank you for letting us know of her passing. God bless you and your family....Val

    I am so sorry for your loss.
    Your mom was so positive and such an inspiration to all of us. I will miss that smile but glad she is suffering no more. Your family is in my prayers. May God wrap his arms around you and hold you all tight and someday your tears will give way to wonderful memories that will comfort you and give you peace. Linda

    to hear this. Clamryn was one of first persons to respond to my post when I joined. She always had good info and a way that made you feel good. She fought hard and long but still I hoped she could of lived longer. This is why sometimes I hate reading the posts, seems like we are always loosing someone we have come to love and care for. I can understand why there are people that no longer post any more. But on the other hand I don't know what I would of done all these years without this blog. It has become a life saver in many times and ways. Deeply sadden to hear this. Kathy

    I'm so terribly saddened to hear of your families loss. Your Mom had written me to ask that I notify the members here that she was stopping treatment and choosing hospice. She always expressed how much her family meant to her. She was such a fighter and a generous supporter to others here on this board. She will be deeply missed. May you find peace in knowing what a wonderful daughter she considered you to be.

    I've been away from this board for a while, but I remember your mom and she was a sweet and caring person. It saddens me that she is no longer with us. I pray for you and your family. Know that many of us here cared about your mom and will miss her. Sometimes people are cared about and loved even more than they know. Thanks for posting.
