but understand the anxiety, funny how we survived the original shock of just finding out we had cancer and the fight we are going thru or have gone thru. Most everyone including me (just in the middle of treatment) have or will be in your shoes. The good news is so many find the new world of NED and Im sure you will join the club. But I truly agree we just need to know for sure................good luck, God Bless0 -

Hope you are at this point in the journey soon! NED chest, neck, and lymph nodes. All of a sudden those miserable days in Tx and side effects were worthwhile. As difficult and painful as it was on some days, today it seems like it wasn't quite as bad as I remembered. I'm going to enjoy the moment and pray that each of you gets to enjoy your own moment.0 -

Yes, NED...no evidence of disease! I was so worried because at the onset my surgeon said 4 lymph nodes on the opposite side of my neck lit up on the PET scan. He ordered a sonogram and four doctors could not find them so they thought maybe just an inflammation on PET. They decided to do rads on both sides. If those nodes were cancer the rads took care of it. On the original side, one of the positive nodes was no longer encapsulated so that was also a big concern. Rads & chemo work!0 -

Hi hwt,
Hey you’re giving me scanxiety too. Boy that stuff is catchy, but can’t be helped.
Good report.
Best,
Matt
Heartfelt thanks for having such a great group of people to make the journey with. I appreciate the shared joy and am genuinely excited for the next fellow bus rider that get to hear "NED".0 -
