I found this board back in '09 when I was diagnosed with DCIS. I had a lumpectomy and radiation and thankfully am still cancer free! Is there anyone here from that long ago?
My best friend has recently been diagnosed with BC. I've told her about this site and hope that she looks here and finds it as comforting as I did/do. It's good to be able to talk to people going through the same thing with the same fears, questions and concerns. Then having that understanding and being able to help/share with others.
Hope you're all staying cool in this treacherous heat a lot of us are going through.

Hi Gloria and welcome back!
Hi Gloria and welcome back!
I joined last year, but there are many ladies here from your time and before that too. I'm sure they'll be following up with you, especially if they were there for you - they'll probably remember you.
I'm happy you're doing well. May you always walk through the path of full recovery.
I'm sorry about your friend. I hope she joins our group for support.
Stay healthy, always!

I've been here since Aug of '09 when I was DX'd IBC. THANKFULLY still NED - the best that can be hoped for with BC.
We are hot here (w. So. Dak.) - have set several records recently - one blew the old record out by 6 degrees. But I'll take the temps here now over what the brutal winter will bring! We desparately need rain without lightening - have already had several fairly bad fires in the Hills and it's only getting drier.
