    I'm off cycle re weekends
    Just got back from 4 days in Cape Cod where I curled on ice, and hit the beach and swam in the ocean. Worked only 2 days this week. This weekend, I'll help my husband prepare for his scuba trip to Belize with our daughter - some father-daughter time. I'll be at home running the office.

    It's been a fun (not!) few weeks at work - we fired one of our full-time people 2 weeks ago today, and then today let our new part-timer go (she just wasn't working out.) Looks like I'll be running the show for a while, so I'll enjoy not being at work this weekend. However, probably kayaking tomorrow.

    Thorsten is home from rehab over the weekend and tomorrow the annual grill-party of his enterprise takes place. We will join the colleague for some relaxing hours. I am busy with marinating some lamp and pork and we will enjoy these with some greek grill-cheese.

Have tried antiseptic mouthwash & hot salt water, but I don't have any antibiotics handy. Been up all night with the darn pain, so I'm going to go lay down.

    Wonderful for you to be at the beach house!

    I started my weekend off with a paddle to the islands 1 mile off shore. It was gorgeous. I brought my mask and swam for shells. We hope to be at the beach a lot this weekend as next week is chemo week.

    This is chemo weekend but going to our local "relay for life". I want to support our nurses and all the work they do. Everyone have the best weekend they can. Jeff

    On Sunday a group of friends is going to help me clean-up my school gardens that have sat in disarray this past year. I am going back to work in a month and am so happy our little flower gardens will look nice.

    it will get better
    the first few treatments will be the hardest... they will balance out the meds and you'll learn to manage with various anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds

    hang in there... it will get better for you.

    About folfox is crazy I know but hang there is a great combo!
