    Many factors
    Artwhitedog,

You may have to post what you have done to try and gain weight with hardly any results for us to try and help. There are many factors involved in gaining weight and muscle. How many calories you burn verses how many calories you take in daily play a large part in all this.

Also, your thyriod (TSH) levels may be out of whack. Have you been getting the thyriod levels checked with each bloodwork requested?

I ate a lot of pasta with a lot of meat sauce to help increase my weight.

My Best to You and Everyone Here

Maybe some of the protein powder
smoothies that muscle builders use....there's 700 calories in a couple scoops, and that doesn't even count other stuff you put into the mix (avacados, fruit, half and half)...

    wow Artwhite..
four years and only gained back what you have ....

My situation will not help you I don't think, I am 6 months out from tx (bless you for being years out). I had my feeding tube in from day 1 before tx and I lost 70lbs during tx ..now I have lost a total of 85lbs and seem to have stayed at the 244lb level for well over a month (yeah, I was a big guy going into treatments)

I take a protein powerder, drinkg a gallon of milk a day (milk was always my favorite before I had gotten sick, and now even more so..one of the few drinks / foods that make my throat feel so niiiiiice :)

I have full taste back but can't do spicey well and when I do eat it is a very slow and small bite process.

    Best,

    Tim
