O.T>fell at work yesterday

not sure what hurts more pride or knees...I went down with a BANG...knees swollen, scraped adn bruised!...about 3 co workers saw me go down..so there goes my pride...hehe...

laughing today...but NOT yesterday..

    I know what you mean...
    I was out to dinner celebrating my last chemo treatment and while walking to the ladies room, my ankle turned and I fell face down barely missing a table of other dinners. I slammed my knee so hard that I was nausaeus and couldn't eat the dinner I ordered, but sat with an icepack on my knee with tears streaming down my face as my friends finished eating. Took 3 months until the pain went away--longer for the embarassment...thankfully they don't recognize me without my blonde wig! LOL! Took another year before I had the courage to wear my platform shoes again.

    We've warned you about those 4 inch heels!!!!! lol. It always seems there is always a witness to our falls...

    I am just glad you are ok Denise! It could have happened to anyone. Put some ice on those knees and keep your legs elevated and rest!

    sorry to hear...

    I dont' wear even low heals for that reason..I had on flip flops..i hate shoes so in good weather flip flops daily..

    Disney was GREAT...hurricane
    Disney was GREAT...hurricane season so down pour every day but one but had a great time. First time in years I had both my girls , grandsons and hubby all on one trip.

    Pride is healing..knees pretty good..

    swelling went down...now just rug burn on one knee...

    thin rug on concrete floor...i went down hard...

    but good thing did not hit face (since 6mth procedure for tooth implant) I grabbed my mouth...thinking day to get implant if mouth swollen you are done..hehe

    all turned out well tooth in..knees healing..

    Thanks all..just small bump
