One year ago today...

I had to tell my family I have breast cancer. My birthday is tomorrow. On the 21st of last July I had a complete mastectomy of my left breast. I am not going to celebrate an anniversary that was so hard on my family....but I AM going to celebrate that I am still alive!!! I hope all of you are doing well, and thank you for being here.

    A very hard day, not one to commemorate, but certainly to acknowledge that you are a survivor - a warrior, and that you are here to love and be loved by your family and friends.

    Celebrate the day but also every day..... having gone through this horrible disease I try to be happy every day. It is hard some days but God we be there when I need him.

    Every Day is a good day!
    I am so glad you are here!

    I am pretty new to all of this....just had bilateral mastectomies and treatment is just starting. Not sure what day will be the "one" day I will choose.....so right now I choose them all!
