Long Time No Post

Hello Pink Warriors. Its been a while since I last posted. I have not had such good luck. I don't even remember if I posted that I had an aortic valve replacement and spent a month in Johns Hopkins, then 3 weeks in a nursing home rehab facility, only to have kidney failure. I am now on dialysis three times a week and am going to be evaluated for a kidney transplant. That will be on Aug 3 and its an 8 hour evaluation. I sold my home in the Balt/Washington area and moved to the eastern shore of Maryland right before Christmas. I had to go on disability because of the kidney failure. I am taking care of my 90 year old Mom, and sometimes I feel like I am working harder than when I worked in an office. I hope you don't mind if I come back now and then to let off steam. I have missed being a part of this group and realized I do need your support and your prayers. I am happy to see the familiar names and heartsick to see so many newbies. I have missed you all and wish you all nothing but health.

P.S. Wednesday afternoon I have a mammogram scheduled. Pray, please!!!!

    You have so very much going on...but we are glad to "see" you again...come anytime and vent or for whatever your needs are....is there anyone who could help in caring for your Mother...? What a wonderful daughter you are!

    It has been a very long time

    Thanks for all your support. Today is the day. I just don't think I could take more bad news, so it better be good!!!! LOL Since this is not my regular docctor who always gives you the results while you are there, this is at a hospital so I probably won't get the results today, but I will ask to see the images if they let me. Again, thanks for all your prayers, and it looks like the pink bus is filling up!!

    I hope you get your results today. I thought they always did for bc survivors.
