Question about Scans

Hello All
I am scheduled to see my Thorasic Surgeon this week and the only scan he has scheduled is a chest scan. What type of scans are typical to check for reoccurance, or hopefully NED? A chest scan doesn't really seem very thorough to me. I appreciate all and any input. It has been almost one year since my surgery.

Just abdominal and pelvic scans
For my 6 month post-op checkup my surgeon only prescribed abdominal and pelvic CT scans. I asked him if a PET scan would be useful and he said he only prescribs PET scans if a CT scan lights something up. On the other hand I was early Stage 1, so I don’t know if that entered into his decision or not.
