Thorsten was released from hospital today. So far everything is going well. The wound is healing. The bloodcounts have to get better but should do soon. The "WC-sessions" are still a bit increased but are slowly returning to normal counts. So far we are very contend. Our expectations were much worse so I'm surprised but happy.

Thanks to all for your support!!!
Petra

Ah, there is no place like home... :)
I remember getting home after my Husband had his liver resection and it felt so wonderful to be here.
    GOD's blessings to you both.

We are glad he came home. A hospital is no place to get healthy. I never could relax in the hospital.

    Every 1,5 - 2 h
day and night is quite often to go to the toilet and really exhausting. We hope, the frequency will reduce soon and the BM will return to normal. Currently it is more slurry and creamy. Well, that was to expect so we have to be patient (not my strongest point)

And tips or ideas concerning food for assistance?

But the wound is healing as it should and so we are overall still content.

    Greetings from Germany
Petra - today ill with migraine because of the changeful weather

    Does the cancer centre where
Does the cancer centre where your husband was treated have a nutritionist....I would speak to them about what is best to eat after this particular surgery. They may have some good ideas :) Hope both you and your husband are feeling better.
