Turcs & Caicos!
I actually just got back from the island of Turcs & Caicos. I have been there a few times before about 10 years ago when I was a travel agent & this was my first time away without my children & it is my favorite beach so I knew I wanted to go back with my husband.0 -

Susie you are so curious! My husband and I will be vacationing at the Gulf again, IF, the rains go away and there isn't a hurricane warning. We rent a beautiful home right on the Gulf and just love it. Hoping we don't have to cancel.

Have no vacay planned yet - due to elderly parents in failing health--but I did take a chartered bus trip last Sat. to northern Indiana (I live in the central part). We visited quilt gardens--gardens that are planted with flowers that make a quilt pattern. Even
though I am not a quilter (& not a very good gardener, either), it was a great trip!
Hope all of you can enjoy at least a little getaway this summer!0 -
Oh a fun question...love it!
We got back a week ago, we went to Mammoth Mountain just outside of Yosemite for a week of family camping. There were only ten of us this time (down about 6)but we had fun. There were three states represented, California, Texas and Arizona. I will post a few pics if anyone is interested. If you are on fb you know I already posted a ton on there LOL!! My husband and I are going to Monterey in early August for four days with his job (bonus thing), we are hoping for good weather so we can go kayaking in the ocean.
Wishing you all fun adventures!

Just came home from California
Now planning next goal, I wanted an Alaskan Cruise, my boys want fishing, and sisters and friends are leaning towards a ladies only cduise without their husbands. It will need to be October and a short flight.
California was beautiful, missed the June gloom, spent needed time with family and friends. Next one will be pure fun. just have convince onco of another break:)))0 -

We have a trip all planned for Feb...we're going to the Dominican Republic with my husbands brother and wife and and others...it's a private resort on the Island..they've been there and talked us into it...their pictures are beautiful! Each villa has it's own pool ( won't have to worry about what I look like being in a bathing suit..I've lost 25 pounds and I'm really thin now I look scarecrow like ...lol) and private a beach with beach BEDS !!!! that's what grabbed me!... Lying on the beach in a canopied bed!!!! We did purchase travel insurance in case I'm unable to go...but if I'm doing as well then as I am now, it's a go! I was apprehensive at first, planning that far in advance but what the heck!!.... gives me something to look forward to.....
My hubby even booked first class tickets plane tickets all the way so I would be more comfortable...gotta love that man! He's my rock!
Good question..be fun reading everyone's posts...we need more like this!
Hugs, Nancy

We're going out West later in the summer. Planning on mainly staying in Montana and Wyoming. It's so beautiful there and we love those mountains. We are hoping to retire out there in the future and are always looking for something to buy. Maybe this trip we will find it!

Family drove to Anchorage
Family drove to Anchorage with me for my last chemo and we drove to Seward when I was done with that. Beautiful road trip and lots of fun before I start my herceptin, which I hear is pretty easy compared to chemo0 -
Off to Lowell, Idaho to
Off to Lowell, Idaho to visit my aunt and uncle. Lowell is a tiny town (population 12) located near the beautiful mountains of the Selway Bitterroot Widlerness area. Lovely aromatic cedar trees, clear rivers, lots of deer and moose. Hoping to at least get out of our humidity--not sure if the heat will be better or not? Looks like it has been a hot summer in the Northwest this year.0 -

We have a girls week planned
We have a girls week planned in a couple of weeks. My daughter, a good friend, her daughter and I will be going to her family home in Montana. They have a house right on Flathead Lake, and we are planning only swimming, BBQs, resting, just hanging out for a week.
And what are your plans my friend?
Hugs,

Susie, are you going to tell us where you are going? Or, are you going to avoid answering like you usually do. HEHE
I am sooooooooooo enjoying reading what all of my pink sisters are going to do this summer and what they have already done for vacation.
Thank you all so much for sharing this with us! I always like to bring a smile, a memory, or, just some fun to all of us! Is it working?
